Intro to Volleyball Clinics (1st thru 4th Grade)

Registration NOW OPEN for our upcoming Intro to Volleyball Clinics!!!

Intro to Volleyball Clinic - Stratman Sports Volleyball Academy
1st – 4th Grade (COED)


Program Details:
An introductory class for BOYS & GIRLS 1st through 4th grade.  The lesson plan introduces the fundamentals - pass, set and spike using a very light volleyball.  This clinic will improve each child’s hand/eye coordination through the use of fun drills and group games.  The net height and court dimensions are modified to promote success while maintaining an emphasis on proper volleyball technique.

Session Length: 
9:00 AM to 10:30 AM (1st through 4th Graders)
6-clinics per session
Clinics are held on SATURDAYS

2016-2017 Sessions & Dates:
Summer Session 2 Dates:  7/29, 8/5, 8/12, 8/19, 8/26, 9/2

OUTDOOR GRASS VOLLEYBALL EVENT PRESENTED BY GATEWAY REGION USAV 

July 15 & 16, 2017 - returning to Kirkwood Fields!

Entry Fee - $30/player 
Enter and pay by June 30  for early registration discount (ONLY $25/player) and to receive tournament apparel!

WHAT IS IT?

Are you ready for some great volleyball FUN? Then enter your team in the 2017 Spikin' It Grass Volleyball Tournament. Now in it's 23rd year, St. Louis’ LARGEST outdoor grass volleyball tournament - Spikin' It -  promises players an exciting tournament with divisions for all playing abilities.  Enjoy a great day of hanging out in the park and playing volleyball with hundreds of fellow volleyball enthusiasts!

WHAT DO YOU GET?

All Spikin' It players who enter & pay by JUNE 30 will receive a tournament tank top. First and second place teams in each division win prizes! CASH PRIZES for the Open division!  
Participants that register after the early registration period are not guaranteed a tournament shirt (SO REGISTER & PAY EARLY)!!!

HOW DO YOU ENTER?

Come join the fun. Enter & pay by June 30th for the discounted price of $25 per player. AFTER June 30th, entry fee is $30 per player, there is no guarantee that you will receive a shirt and teams will be accepted as space allows.

Rainout Policy (Outdoor Events):
•We play in the rain, however, we do not play in heavy rain or lightning.
•Since weather is often unpredictable, please check the weather update widget above AND our Twitter feed before leaving for your match.

Keep in mind we won't make a decision on cancellation until 5:30 PM to make sure we make the best call possible.  We will not make a decision to cancel any sooner unless it is absolutely clear that the weather will be unplayable.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY:
Below is our policy concerning inclement weather situations.  We cannot base our judgment off a forecast, so we wait to make decisions until we actually SEE the weather in action.  Please refer to the policy when making personal decisions for you and/or your family.

1. Families/Individuals should make their own decisions regarding league/practice based on the driving conditions in their area, and who will be driving. If you feel the driving conditions are unsafe for the individual/team driving to league/practice, please notify your coach or league director, 
tony@stratmansports.com.

2. In the rare case we decide to cancel league/practice/tournament, we will communicate cancelations as follows:

a) Cancelation notice will be posted on the Stratman Sports' homepage through our Twitter Feed.
b) A mass e-mail notification will be sent to respective team/parent reps.
 
LEAGUES: 
Decisions are made by 5:30 PM for league matches that start at 6:15 PM or later!

TOURNAMENTS: 
Decisions are made by 5:15 AM for USAV tournaments that start at 8:00 AM or later!

PRACTICES: 
Decisions are made by 4:00 PM for house team practices that start at 4:50 PM or later!
